I am Fenix2 User. The only way to connect my running data to Garmin connect is via Garmin express in my PC.

Anyone facing that problem today ?

the sync now circle keeping turning round and round and can not complete the sync.

As the workaround did not consistently resolve the sync issue you are experiencing, contact Product Support by phone for further assistance.

  • AS I MENTIONED EARLIER:
I annoys me that they say to hook the 910XT up to a usb cable which it has no connection for and to upload the .fit files and they don't know these files have no extensions.
I think their devices are really good but their software is absolutely terrible and keeps getting worse. I never had many issues till they came out with garmin connect, the old antenna agent (i think thats what it was called) was not perfect but it worked most of the time.
I seem to spend more time trying to get my data uploaded then I do training.

So let me add something to this, Garmin support said a few posts back:
Where do my activities go on the computer before they are uploaded to Garmin Connect?
    support.garmin.com/.../case.faces
    C:\ProgramData1\Garmin\CoreService\Devices\Unit ID of device\Sync\FIT_TYPE_4

Well they don't go there, they go to this folder:
    C:\ProgramData\Garmin\GarminConnect\Forerunner 910XT-3841822976\FIT_TYPE_4
THIS IS WHERE THE .FIT FILES ARE!!! NOT WHERE THEY SAY THEY ARE!!! WHY DON'T THEY KNOW THIS STUFF!!!
  • Fooger

I clearly say in the original post that the .fit has to be added to the files. " If there are any files in it then you can try to manually upload them. If the file name is just a number without the .fit extension, add the extension before you Import it into Connect. " Garmin Express doesn't care whether the file has the .extension on it. The missing extension is not the reason the files are not uploading automatically.

Before Express uploads files to Connect they are temporarily saved to the C:\ProgramData\Garmin\CoreService\Devices\Unit ID of device\Sync\FIT_TYPE_4 folder. This folder should be empty after each sync. If it is not then a the device should be removed from Express and Connect then Master Reset and re-added.

Activity files that Express thinks it successfully uploaded to Connect are stored in the C:\ProgramData\Garmin\GarminConnect\Forerunner 910XT-3841822976\FIT_TYPE_4 folder. This is a permanent location for files and can be used by third party websites to import your data.

I have 13 activities since 1st May haven't appeared in my activities. I can't find the fit files for them on my computer.
The ant and express has synced them form my watch.
Can I resend from my watch? 910XT

If the 910XT shows the activities in the History menu then you can resend them. How can I resend my history from my wireless ANT+ watch to my computer?

I have checked the link and it is correct. Typically the JSP error is java related. Try clearing your cache/history/etc and see if you can load the page. Here is some information from one of our FAQs that should help:

    Internet Explorer (IE):

    IE 9, 10, and 11 - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/How-to-delete-your-browsing-history-in-Internet-Explorer-9
    IE 7 and 8 - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Delete-webpage-history

    Chrome (PC or Mac):http://www.google.com/support/chrome/bin/answer.py?answer=95537

You can also go to the Garmin Support FAQ pages and search for the article using the title. https://support.garmin.com/support/searchSupport/search.htm

Hi, Ive had the same problems with synching. I went into garmin connect as advised above and deleted the different updates. It now has no errors but i dont have my race info on the page.
    Have i lost this?

I am sorry for the troubles. Your account shows that you were able to sync today. If you continue to have troubles please contact Garmin Support again so your case can be continued and a permanent resolution can be found. These issues usually reside on the local level rather than on the Garmin Connect Servers.

Again I am sorry for the troubles.
