Garmin Express can't sync again

I am Fenix2 User. The only way to connect my running data to Garmin connect is via Garmin express in my PC.

the whole day seen like not able to sync the data again.

Anyone facing that problem today ?

the sync now circle keeping turning round and round and can not complete the sync.

    Keeps saying a problem syncing. Updated Express, restarted PC, still won't sync, not give a reason.

    Same here.

    Hard reset - check
    Uninstall/install - check
    logout/login - check
    remove device/add device - check

    I'm not happy. There is something wrong and reading this threads, it's not users' end.

    Before yesterday everything worked just fine.

    Same here but with newer Garmin Express version. I'm not even able to manually upload ANY of .fit files to Garmin Connect.

  • I am dangerously close to selling all my Garmins and buying something else. ANYTHING else. I can't even get Express to OPEN on my computer right now. Biggest trainwreck I've ever seen from a software standpoint.

    I am sorry for the troubles. I pulled a fenix2 from our test cabinet and created a couple of activities. One on firmware version 4.30 and the other on 4.40 and synced with Express 4.0.11 in between. Both activities synced successfully and can be seen below.

    No sync problems were reported over the weekend with Connect. If the activity was created and saved properly then the .FIT file will be in the Activity folder on the fenix2. This file can be manually imported into Connect on the Activities page. See the FAQ: How do I manually upload data from USB Mass Storage devices to Garmin Connect? If you have a .FIT file that will not upload manually to Connect then it is corrupt and should be discarded.

    If you continue to have troubles please make sure Garmin Express is up to date then remove and re add the fenix2 to Express. Be sure to select the option to "Remove from Garmin Connect" when deleting. All activities already uploaded will be unaffected by this. Clean out the Activity folder on the fenix2. If an activity is already uploaded, delete it from the watch. Also check the GPX folder and remove any .gpx files that are 0KB in size.

    I am having the same problem as the rest of the users. Here are my details:

    Forerunner 310XT
    Garmin Express 4.50
    Windows 8.1

    My bike ride from today will upload into Garmin Express which shows Sync completed - however it does not appear in Garmin Connect. Garmin Express shows that the last Sync was today at 6:18pm - however Garmin Connect shows that the last Sync was yesterday at 12:24. Somehow the activity data is not getting from Express to Connect. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Express and resynched my 310XT several times using the "Transfer All" function. None of my activities from today show up, including the small dummy activities that I have created to force the watch to sync.

    It does appear that Express and Connect are communicating. I have removed the device on Express and selected the "Remove from Garmin Connect" button. When I then go to Connect the device is gone. I then added a new device and this time named it a new name. The watch appears in Connect under the new name - but still no activities.

    Here is a screenshot that shows the discrepancy between Connect Sync date and Express Sync date.

    I'm having trouble syncing my Forerunner 610 and my vivosmart. I uninstalled and reinstalled all Garmin software. I've also tried to plug directly into my PC via the USB charging cable. Garmin Express will not recognize either device. Very frustrating.
  • My 310XT EVENTUALLY synced. I left the house to go ride, and it synced while I was gone (I left it connected to power, and I left the computer running to let it keep trying over and over and over again).

    I'm done with this device and Garmin Express. Fix your damn software.
  • On my third Garmin now and probably my last none of the activities from the Forerunner 310 THAT IVE JUST BOUGHT are uploading to garmin Connect same problems as above data appears to be coming of the watch to Garmin Express but not showing on Connect... CAN A CUSTOMER CARE AGENT please let me know what I need to do in order to get it working correctly.

    Honestly wish I'd went Suunto.....
