There was an eror syncing with Garmin Connect

I cannot load a course into my new Edge 200. The device seems to operate fine and has logged an activity, but will not accept a course? Update seems to go well and reports that the device is up to date, but if i include a course I get the error message "There was an eror syncing with Garmin Connect" and the course remains in the cue. Is this typical of this device or is there a bug? Bummer because I was planning on a big ride today with brand new Garmin. Hopefully this will be an easy and rapid fix.

    Was the course created manually in the Courses Menu or was it created from an existing activity uploaded into Connect? Currently courses created from activities will not transfer through Express. Delete the course from the queue, recreate it or create another course manually and see if that will sync.
