Express 4.0.6.0 same sync problem

got updated today... same error of sync error.

the sync bar is syncing ...then red error..

May be be Garmin should repack 3.2.9 as 4.0.7...(sac)

error is there is an error syncing Connect..
time zone is correct..

what has been changed between 4.0.5 and 4.0.6?

For me, it's like 4.0.5, where the data syncs, but I get a sync error, and a popup that says their is new FW for the device (when there isn't!)

FR15, on a PC running Win 8.1, with everything up to date (got a windows update just today, and installed it and rebooted before trying 4.06...)

Same issue here with a vivofit. It seems to sync data because Connect online looks updated but a red bar error pops up that says it didn't sync correctly. I have had this problem since 4.X.X updated from version 3. I uninstalled express and reinstalled the last 3.x.x and its working fine again. Vivofit has 3.70 firmware installed. The latest mobile app on android works fine too.

I get the same red sync error as the previous versions but the data does still appear on Garmin Connect.

Garmin Express version 4.0.7.0 was just released and it should resolve this issue. You can update from settings or download the update from the following link:
http://download.garmin.com/omt/express/B/GarminExpressInstaller.exe

Please let me know if any of you still have issues with the new version.

4.0.7 came out today, and for me, no more bogus "sync error" message, but still a bogus "software update available" message.

Fr15 running 2.50 and PC running Win 8.1

4.0.7 still doesn't sync an Edge 810!

Garmin Express version 4.0.7.0 was just released and it should resolve this issue. You can update from settings or download the update from the following link:
http://download.garmin.com/omt/express/B/GarminExpressInstaller.exe

Please let me know if any of you still have issues with the new version.

Sorry but my Edge 810 doesn't work with the 4.0.7.0 release.

Sync problems with an EDGE can usually be attributed to corrupt data in an Activity file as long as there are no items being sent from Connect to the Edge through Express. Manually uploading the activity files to Connect then removing them from the Edge should correct the sync error. Please see the FAQ: How do I manually upload data from USB Mass Storage devices to Garmin Connect? It may be necessary to delete the device from Express then add it back. Let us know if you continue to have trouble.
