Garmin Express 4.0.2 does not work

Hello. Garmin FR15 and Garmin Express 4.0.2 does not work. I installed it 3 times and cleaned registers, does not help, need to improve the application garmin express. does not synchronize the activities of daily. Garmin Express previous version worked very well

    I have this problem too. The message is telling that sync failed, and it's true because no daily steps data appear on garmin connect.
    Then, i unplug the device for the second attempt retrying and the message appear to became same, sync failed. BUT, the daily steps data APPEAR on garmin connect. :confused:

    I decided to uninstall GE v.4.0.2, and going back previous version. :cool:
  • An update to Express was released today along with an update to the Forerunner 15 v2.50 on the 24th. I suggest update the Forerunner 15 and install the latest version of Garmin Express 4.0.5. Let us know if you continue to have troubles.

  • Garmin Express v4.0.5 synchronizes daily activities with Garmin FR15, but still writes:
  • 4.0.5 not only would tell me the sync failed, but also that I had to update the region file EVERY time I synced - with a Fr15. the Gupdate.rgn file would be sent to the Fr15, and when I unplug the Fr15, it spends a minute "updating software"

    I get the same problem on 4.0.2 and 4.0.5. I get a sync error message on my 910xt (although the data does upload to Garmin Connect, it still shows me a
    "sync problem error.).

    I have the same issue with express 4.0.5 on Windows 7 x64. With both a Fenix 2 (USB) and Vivofit (ANT). It always says the sync failed "Sorry we couldn't sync your device. Please try again." but sometimes it has actually worked. Never had a problem with previous versions of Express. And its linked correctly to the Connect account.

    Quick update, still saying its failing, but yesterdays data is now available. So it may well be its a DATE (or timezone) issue, and the current days data is not been uploaded. I sync Vivofit 1st thing in the morning, so its showing yesterdays data (entire days worth), but not this mornings prior to sync. I'm syncing at 5-6am GMT.
  • I updated to GE 4.0.5 on a second machine (both running Windows 8.1) and it has the same problem as my main machine. With a Fr15, I get a "sync error" even though it seems to sync fine, and it keeps telling me there is an update for the FR15 (when there is not).

    My main machine is back on 3.0.29 and working fine, but this way I can see when 4.0.x is working by trying the second machine. I have a feeling that 4.0.x will be needed for the new devices like the vivoactive, and I have one of those on pre-order.
