Can't sync any data (Edge 810 and 405FR) after upgrading to GE 4.0
Garmin please test your software!
  • I FINALLY got Express to sync my FR 310XT after about 12 hours of trying. But now it's in a loop where it continues to try to sync, even though it's synced.
  • Did you try deleting your devices from Express then re-adding them? That normally cures any issues.

    I'm sorry to hear you are having issues syncing your devices. What is the error message that you receive on Express when you try to sync your data? As SUSSAMB mentioned, most issues with Express can be resolved by deleting and repairing your devices into Garmin Express again.

    I know how to resolve issues with Garmin Express, change developer team.

    With every new version we have more and more bugs and errors, 1 error repaired 5 new added, sometime is 3 new version in one day, so i like to ask you something, developers never test version before release or why the hell we have always problem with this tool?
  • I did everything in that posted article (plus a bunch of other things including deleting registry entries, trying other software, rebooting the computer a few times, and so on) last night and the device refused to sync with Express after all of that until today around noon.

    At around noon today, it "just worked". I did nothing new. I changed no settings. I was simply trying again. The computer didn't even get rebooted - I left it to continue trying to sync overnight until it went to "sleep" and I simply woke it up.

    Hi Ryan,
    Thanks for your reply. I removed my devices. The Edge 810 works fine now. The FR405 is recognized but does not sync. Communication error...
