Garmin Express 4.0

There seems to be an issue with the Garmin Express web page. When I open it I get this, even though I'm on Win7 :confused:

When I click on the top 'learn more' link I get this:

Mac OS X 10.6 Support

Everything seems to be working okay in Express 4 except when I select "Vehicles and Voices" option. I get the following error message" "Server Error - We're having trouble communicating with our servers".

Is this a temporary system problem or a problem with Express 4.0?

False alarm. The option is now working fine with no server issue.

I am getting this same error (Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit). I got the error yesterday after upgrading to Express 4.0.2.0, then the error went away for a while and the "Vehicles and Voices" function was working as it should. Now the error is back again.

The facility may exist (although I have not found it yet as no new map), but it seems Garmin still regards it as an insignificant facility, as it is not in the new help! Indeed, the help is so superficial it seems pretty useless to me.

To resolve this issue:

Go to the web page: http://support.microsoft.com/mats/program_install_and_uninstall/1
Click the Run now button
Click Run in Internet Explorer or download then open MicrosoftFixit.ProgramInstallUninstall.RNP.Run.exe1
Click Accept in the license agreement
Follow the provided instructions to select and uninstall the particular application
When uninstalling Garmin Express select:
Garmin Express
Garmin Express Tray
Elevated Installer
Garmin Update Services (skip if not present)
ANT Drivers Installer x64
This program will need to be run again for each item on the list to be uninstalled
Once the Microsoft Fix it utility is complete, install the desired application:

Install the latest version of the Garmin application from: http://www8.garmin.com/support/download.jsp
Install Homeport from: http://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=7264
Install Garmin Express from: http://software.garmin.com/express.html
This will resolve MSI-related issues when installing or updating Garmin applications.
