Garmin 2957 bluetooth disconnected after resuming from sleep

I've noticed that the garmin 2957 gps bluetooth would disconnect after leaving your vehicle and return back. One has to reboot the device to make it work. It seems to due to the fact phone was temporarily disconnected prior to auto-sleep, and upon waken-up, the device is no way to reconnect bluetooth.

Is there anyway to rectify such a problem? or is there any setting that I can let 2957 to auto-shutdown instead of auto-sleep?
