Data not syncing properly

Hello. I've been having some problems syncing data from my Forerunner 15. Specifically, Steps have not synced properly since Wednesday, January 28. All days since then have had lower steps on Garmin Connect than reported on my Forerunner. Also, Sleep data only shows from midnight forward, even if I enter a time before midnight as when I went to bed (i.e. 2200). This phenomenon started on Monday, February 2. I have rebooted the Forerunner but that has not solved the problem. Activities appear to be syncing properly. PLEASE HELP!

    I'm also having issues with my forerunner 15 not syncing. If I plug it in, it will sync that days data, but it will not sync any other days prior to this and I can't seem to be able to update the data for previous days when it has not been plugged in.

    When I check on Garmin connect it tells me that I have to sync my data but how?

    It was working fine last week but has decided not to bother this week...

    As you can see from this photo, my Steps aren't syncing properly. I've had significantly more steps each day than shown on Connect. I tried rebooting the watch with no success. Any suggestions?

    I'm trying to manually import the files. Looks like quite a few people are having problems lately.

    Not a good first introduction to Garmin, maybe I should've gone for a TomTom...

    I am having the exact same issue. It is only syncing data from that day. I was away for the weekend and unable to sync on Friday or Saturday, came home on Sunday and assumed it would sync all of the data but it only shows the data for Sunday. I've had this less than a month - if this is how it works I'm returning it.
  • Have you tried to manually upload the missing or incomplete data to Garmin Connect? Here is our FAQ on how to do so:

    It could also be that the device is low on space/memory. Try freeing up some space to see if this helps. Our FAQ How do I update my Forerunner 10/15 if there isn't enough memory? provides instructions to do so.

    If the data still does not upload, it is possible that the information on the device is corrupted. If so, or if the problems persist, contact Product Support for further assistance.

    I contacted Garmin and customer service advised that this is a known issue right now with the Forerunner 15. It's not an issue with your device. It is an issue on Garmin's end and their engineers are working on it. Unfortunately, I was told that the only current solution is to sync on a daily basis.

    I too assumed that past days' data would load/synch (I synch about every 7-10 days). Just found out that this is not the case. And it appears that this has been going on for a while. Let's see...Garmin wants to compete with Fitbit, etc yet can't get basic functionality to work properly. Have a few garmin products but this might be my last garmin product. How they could release a product with this big of an error is beyond me....
