Cannot sync

Hi,

I cannot sync my latest activity from my 310xt using garmin express.
Because of the many issues with Garmin Express I am using a new windows 8.1 computer.
The computer has only ever had Garmin Express on it and the installation media is from MSDN.
The only thing I've used this computer for is using Garmin Express.
The only other thing I've done on this computer is run windows updates.
I went to such extreme measures because I desperately want to be able to use my Garmin and have it sync without having a headache every time.

I hope that describes the environment of the issue.

When I try to sync, my devices is found, but the only activity (from today) says 'error' after a while and doesn't transfers. This happens in a loop for at least an hour.

How can I debug this?

    It works sometimes, just not in past day.

    If necessary, manually upload the activity to Garmin Connect. Instead of locating the file on your device, you will need to locate the file on your computer.     The activity may be corrupted so it may not be writing to the computer. If this is the case, create a manual activity in Garmin Connect and then [URL="http://support.garmin.com/support/searchSupport/simpleCase.htm?caseId={acd36fa0-7ac5-11e2-65d0-000000000000} &kbName=garmin"]master reset[/URL] the Forerunner 310XT.
