Garmin Express Failed. Try Again.

Sorry to reopen this, all other threads have been closed.

I have gone through all the forums and applied and the suggested changes, I don't think I missed any.

I am still getting the Failed Try Again error.

Done .Net 4.5 fix, installed 4.5.2, updated all .Net updates available
Did the VCDist manual install
Did the C:\ root install
Did the Run from IE, even made IE default browser
Disabled temporarily Firewall and AntiVirus

All links found link to 3.2.27.0, can't find any links to the advertised 3.2.28.0 except for Mac

I'm at my wits end, please assist ;)

Edit: Log files available on request.

The newest version can be found here.

You can also follow all the instructions in the following support article:
Why do I receive a "Failed. Try again?" error message when installing Garmin Express on a PC?

If neither one of these gets you taken care of please contact support.

Thank you, I have downloaded this version and got the same error: Failed. Try Again?

Anyone else got some suggestions for me, something I missed?

Snap I cannot download Garmin Express either, have tried all recommendations from Garmin support and also from You Tube, to no avail. I have now contacted Garmin direct and hopefully this can be sorted out.

    Absolute nightmare!

This is crazy and I never thought it would work, but I was having the same issue. I did all the updates too, uninstalled one of the Microsoft patches and still no good. The one thing that DID work, was the I performed the install using my Ethernet cable instead of wifi. I really had no faith in this, but I was at my wits end and it did the trick.
  • Problems with wifi can be an issue, as you've discovered.

I tried cable and wifi, no luck in getting Garmin Express installed.

Edit: Is there any other software we can use to update the Garmin's?
  • Then follow the last line Albert's post to you and contact Product Support. They can if necessary remotely access your PC and correct any issues.

Depending on your device and what you're trying to update WebUpdater may work for you.
