Garmin Express says error whenever try to sync Edge 1000

For a few days, my Edge 1000 cannot sync through garmin express. The app shows the error:

There was an error communicating with the Garmin servers. Please try again later.

I have the latest version of express and the latest firmware for the 1000 (2.70). What is causing this?

    I am sorry for the troubles. It is difficult to say what is causing the problem. I suggest you follow the suggestions in the FAQ articles below.

    What should I do if I'm having issues with the Garmin Express client? (Select the option to delete the Edge from Connect. This does not delete activities already uploaded.)

    If you continue to have troubles once you have added the Edge back to Express, please use the instructions in the article below to manually upload the Activities to Connect then remove them from the device. It is possible that one of the activities is corrupt and preventing a successful sync through Express. If that is the case, the activity file will not manually upload to Connect. Delete the activity file and syncing should resume.
