I have GE 3.2.28.0 installed and the Communicator plugin updated, Garmin USB drivers installed and I have a Nuvi 2445LMT Satnav. Neither GE and the Garmin web portal can detect my device. Anybody any ideas why? The Garmin portal does say to check that the latest media player is installed, but when the link is clicked on, the link is broken (takes you to an Apache server message). Great!
Many thanks for prompt advice. Turns out the cable was somehow preventing device identification. Changed cable and all is well. Your advice helped me establish this. Thanks.
