VivoSmart Setup in Garmin Express.

I've already a 910xt watch, 810 bike computer and S2 golf watch. All are setup in Garmin Express perfectly fine and sync to my Connect account. Have now also a Vivosmart. Have upgraded Express software to latest version 3.2.28.0. Other other devices work fine. Express see's my Vivosmart and allows me to select that I want to link to an existing device. I enter my login details and express then says that this device will be my primary Health device. Click Ok and it then says;


Via bluetooth on my mobile phone I have been able to link the device to my connect account. However my Heart Rate data is not synced?

Any help appreciated.

    I am sorry that you are having trouble with Garmin Express. I checked your account and there was a problem with the way that the device was added to the account. Unfortunately, we are unable to delete the device from the account to start over because the web page freezes when you try to open the device settings on Garmin Connect. We have an open case on this and are working to resolve it.

    I think I may have solved the problem for you. In order to test this, I did need to reset your password. You can change back to your original password by clicking the Forgot? link here. Please try to pair the device with Garmin Express on your computer before trying to sync the device with your phone again as I believe that this may be where the problem started. I would appreciate it if you can respond back to this post with the results so that I can add this to the case.

    Hi Jason,

    Yes, thats worked fine thanks - device now set up with Garmin Express. However my Heart Rate Monitor data doesn't seem to be syncing and appearing in Garmin Connect. My HRM is working and connecting to the vivosmart. Can you help?

    Does the HRM work with the other devices to send the data to connect? If so, I would suggest calling in and talking to our fitness department:
