Cannot access the Device settings to setup vivosmart

I have been trying for days to setup my vivosmart, it worked once around the 29th December but ever since then the syncs have been random. I saw all the other posts in here about sync problems so I decided to be patient. When I saw the post saying all was well with syncs i was encouraged and to be fair it seems to be sync'ing more than before. The BIG problem is that I cannot get into devices to set the vivosmart pace length, what shows on the screen.

When I try to go to devices I just get a blank screen, the hour glass and that is it. I have tried reinstalling Internet explorer, Firefox and Chrome, no difference. I have also reinstalled Garmin express. Deleted the vivosmart, and rediscovered it but no difference.

So the device cannot be setup, the step length is way out and giving wildly inaccurate distances. This couple with the salesman insisting it worked with Samsung S3mini phones (and it doesn't) makes it totally useless and frustrating ! That might be better if I could get to the device setup screen to take all those bluetooth goodies off my vivosmart.

On the countdown to be returned to the shop now !

    I am sorry for the troubles. Garmin is aware that some customers are experiencing this behavior with the vivofit and vivosmart devices. The developers are working on getting this corrected. I understand the countdown is running and I apologize for the troubles. Please hang in there with us and we will get these surprises issues resolved soon.
