Error connecting device to Garmin Express

Every time I try to connect my device I get an error when logging in. Since I have tried this over 2 dozen times I am convinced my username/pwd combo is correct. Is this a known issue? Any suggestions for getting past it?

I am having the same problem and would love a solution! I have been trying to sync my Vivo Smart all morning and the error I get is "Sorry we could not sync your device, please try again." I have successfully done this in the past but yesterday and today I have had problems! If anyone has a solution or suggestions please let me know!
  • There have been some issues with the Garmin Connect servers timing out this weekend. Please try again tomorrow.

Thanks Curt. I have been having this issue for more than a week so it seems unlikely that it's a temporary service issue. Is there additional information I can provide to help narrow down the root cause?

At this time there is no real advantage to syncing the 64 with Express and an existing Connect account. If you are wanting to upload your tracks to Connect I suggest you do it manually. How do I manually upload data from USB Mass Storage devices to Garmin Connect?

The GPSMAP 64ST is an Outdoor device, full support for Express has not been implemented yet.

    thanks for your response!

1 - thanks for letting me know there is no advantage to connecting to connect. I will just skip it.

2 - thanks for showing me the steps to manually upload, I hadn't been able to figure out how to do it in the modern UX.

    thanks!
