Nuvi 2599LMT not compatible with Garmin Express?

Hi,

Just got my wife a brand new 2599, and am trying to update with Express. The problem is, Express is telling me that the 2599 is not compatible with Express.

Anyone else seen this, a quick search yielded no similar results

    No problem, I'll check this thread Monday to see if the GE team have contacted u.


    FYI - similar to last time, we will be leaving for a trip tomorrow so i won't be able to pick this up again until we return a week from today (9/12).

    In reviewing the GarminDevice.xml file, I was able to determine that there was a discrepancy on our database that was causing the issue. I have corrected it and manually registered the device to your myGarmin account. You should now be able to add the device to Garmin Express and update the maps.

    If you have any further issue with this, it will require more in depth troubleshooting and you should contact us by phone.

    Whatever you did worked, the unit is now recognized on my end and Garmin Express is updating the maps.
