Garmin express doesn't work

Well Garmin Express does work, but clearly you can't get it to work. Perhaps with a bit more information you might get some help.

I know I sound very frustrated because I am. I have Forerunner XT310. I installed and tried using Garmin express before (a few months ago) I got stuck, like now, at "Device Found - Loading device information" for ever and ever. I tried disconnecting the ant stick and reinserting it. The Forerunner is on and very close. I did this dozen of times. I use OS X 10.9.5 Garmin express 3.2.8.0

After trying this process a few months ago, I trashed the software and installed ANT agent which worked simply and flawlessly. Now you tell me its no longer supported, but it worked!

Any suggestions???

Sometimes the loading device process stops and I get this message: We're Sorry... There's a problem with our servers, etc. etc.

That is almost always an issue with the firmware data on the 310XT. Please download and install the latest version of Garmin Express first. If you continue to have troubles revert back to the ANT Agent and get all the data uploaded to Connect from the 310XT. Once the data is uploaded, Master Reset the watch, reinstall Express and your 310XT will sync with no problem. If you need help with any of this please contact us by phone.

Where does the ANTAgent data go?

I figured it out. I found an FAQ, and was able to manually upload the data to Garmin Connect. Not perfect but it will do for now.


ANTAgent can't connect to Garmin Connect because is no longer supported, so I cancelled the sign in screen. ANTAgent proceeds to download the data, which I assume can be manually imported on the website trough the browser. Unfortunately I have no idea where the data downloaded from ANTAgent is on my computer. I searched for ANTagent, for Garmin, I looked in the application support folder in my Library (OSX 10.9) but can't find it.

Any clue?

By the way, here is the log from Garmin Express. Maybe you guys can figure out why its not working.
