I apologize for anyone having trouble installing Garmin Express. Garmin Express is installed on roughly 100,000 computers a month, there will always be instances where an application will not install for one reason or another regardless of who develops it. Garmin Express uses the standard WIX installer which used by other many other software development houses around the world. The last install issue that effected a large number of Windows computers was caused by a Microsoft Windows Update. Please see the FAQ: Why do I receive the error "Key not valid for use in specified state" when installing a Garmin application? to make sure you have the latest Windows Updates/Hotfixes installed.
Other suggestions:
1. Please make sure you are signed in as the Administrator on the computer.
2. Disable any Anti-Virus applications before installing.
3. See the FAQ below to download and run the Microsoft .NET Repair Tool. This will Reregister the Windows Installer Service on the computer.
What should I do if I encounter a Microsoft .NET Framework error while installing or using a Garmin application?
