Garmin Express - Time Zone Map Install?

Hi All.

I'm sure by now we have all seen/had this issue. Using a Garmin 500, when I open the Garmin Express each time I get 'Time Zone Map ready to install'....even WITHOUT connecting my Garmin.

I have followed other suggestions, delete this file and that file from the Garmin, and that works only until I switch it on again (pc). The problem issue seems to be with Garmin Express itself. Having installed several times I keep getting this update?

Any idea's what to do with Garmin Express?

  • Have you tried deleting and then reassociating your device with Express? Also ensure Express is up to date.

    I'm not seeing that issue with my Express and have updated all 5 of my GPS.

    I'm having trouble with the connect website. I have tried to update my FR 610, and believe I have done so successfully (GE doesn't show it as an available update). However, Connect always displays it on the website. I've tried manually deleting it, but inevitably it comes back. Any suggestions on how to fix the website?

  • Sorry but I'm unclear what you're asking here and this thread is about a problem with the timezone map. Unless yours is the same problem please start a new thread. If it is about the timezone map please explain exactly what your problem is.

    Thanks to all that replied. Deleting the files etc and updating the Garmin express has done the trick.
