Used Express to update Nuvi 2460 but nothing in My Maps

Searched forums but couldn't find anything on this.....

Used Express to update Nuvi 2460 but when I go to My Maps there's nothing there.
Opened Windows Explorer and looked at the 2460. Found the new .img file in the .system folder. It is a big file 2.5G+
This happened a year ago when I updated and had to call customer support. They talked me through some file manipulation but I can't remember the steps.

Please advise. Thanks.

My suggestion would be to reinstall the maps, trying to second guess what's happened with the info you've supplied wouldn't be helpful. At the very least you need to explain (screen shot would be best) exactly which files are in your .system folder.

on your Nuvi, go into settings/maps, see if map is listed, make sure box is checked.

I read somewhere in here that the old updater is better than the new one. ?

Depends on how you define better ...

Some have problems with MapUpdater just like some have problems with Express. I find they both work for me.

Did a reinstall with Express and now it works okay everything's fine. Thank you.
