I hope somebody can help me. I have tried everything, I think. When I first purchased my Fenix 2 watch everything worked fine, for a few weeks. Ever since I did a workout on 7-18-2014 I am no longer able to sync my device via Bluetooth. Additionally, when I sync of my device to my PC it will sync everything, but give an error message that It can not sync one or more files. When I look at the "view error" it shows the data for 7-18-2014. I am aware that the data for that specific date is probably what is causing the problem. I have cleared the history on that watch so there is no data for 7-18-2014, but still, it gives that same error. I am betting/hoping, that if I can figure out how to get that data (assuming it is still somehow in the watch for that date) my problem will be solved...?? (maybe???). I have done a hard reset, turned watch off, gone through all the data on watch, and see no indication of any data for 7-18-2014. With the suggestion of Jason with Garmin Support, I checked the activity folder stored in my watch and there are NO activity or history data located in "Activities" folder. Still, same errors and not able to sync. =/
I am sorry that you are having trouble with your Fenix 2. Have you made sure that the activity file was actually removed from the watch? To check this:
Connect the watch to your computer
Open the drive from My Computer, Computer or This PC
