Unable to sync zumo 350lm

I have a Zumo 350 lm. But I can not update the maps and even load maps purchased on the Garmin website.

Just when I connect the GPS to the computer (Windows 8) it opens the Garmin Express, but says it has no GPS connected to it ....

Have tested all cables and computer's USB ports, without success.

I already called technical assistance in Brazil and changed the MTP selector without success.

I am very disappointed with the product and also a service center in my country.
