Unable to sync anymore - Forerunner 910XT

Hi, lately I've had problems uploading new activites.

The Garmin Express software seems to "hang" on 50% upload.

Now I reinstalled Garmin Express and clicking the "Sync now" button seems to do nothing.

When looking into the log file under Garmin/Logs/CoreService it says:
"Sync upload already running for device 3843442671"

The "transferring data" text never appears on my watch.
I have restarted and soft reset the device - also selected "Transfer all activities".
But nothing happens.

Seems to be stuck because a sync is already running. How can I reset/fix this?

I'm running Windows 8 and Garmin Exrpess v3.2.21.0.
Forerunner 910XT has software 3.00

    I am sorry that you are having trouble with Garmin Express. First, please update to the latest version of Garmin Express (3.2.25.0) by following the instructions here:

    If you are still having trouble, remove your device from Express, restart your computer, and then pair it to Garmin Express again. To remove the device from express, follow the instructions in the FAQ below:
