I exchanged my old Fenix 2 (35 days old) which had a failed temperature sensor with a newer Fenix 2. I did not retire the old Fenix 2 within Garmin Express and just added the new one. It appeared as Fenix 2 (2). Fenix 2 was the original. I tried syncing workouts to Fenix 2 (2). Garmin Express claims the items sync, but I just see them sit there in the Sync queue on Connect.
Has anyone encountered this?
I appreciate where Garmin is trying to take the product, but the execution is poor. I have owned a eTrex Venture HC for years and have been pleased with it. The Fenix 2 is quickly undoing any good will I have towards Garmin. I am ready to return this new one after less than a day and switch to a competitor. You know exactly who I am talking about too. It's ridiculous this would be released as a product with all the difficulty I have had.
Quite sad that a company I once held with high esteem has just become awful. I have some other ideas to try, but it is unacceptable I have to spend hours to get what should be the simplest tasks to work! I rather be running, swimming, hiking, walking, or skiing. Thanks for helping me get out there. Sarcasm fully intended.
