Garmin Express is uploading a single activity 45 times

Garmin Express is trying to upload today's single run activity from my 610 45 times! My watch has a single run activity from today which was logged around 11:30 AM . However, Garmin Express shows 44 workouts dated today at 5:33 PM or later and 1 dated today at 12:42 PM. The status of each activity goes from "Waiting to upload..." to "Transferring..." and then back to "Waiting to upload..." Nothing is actually being uploaded to Garmin Connect.

Has anyone experienced this? Does anyone know how to stop this behavior?

    I suggest you delete the device from Express and Connect then add it back again. If you continue to have trouble see the FAQ:

    That worked! Thank you very much.

    Is there is something that I did to cause this behavior. If so, I'd like to know so that I can avoid this from happening in the future.
  • This did not work with my 610. Deleted device but Express would never find the 610. Verified Initial Pairing enabled. ???

    That screen shot shows that Express found the device, paired with it, and is trying to upload an activity from 11/2/2014 10:39PM and the weight scale file 12/30/1989 7:00PM. If Express gets stuck here then you have a couple of files stuck in the sync folder on the computer. Close Express, including the Express Tray from the Taskbar's notification area, (next to the Time & Date, lower right corner). Navigate to C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Core Update Service\Sync\UnitID of your 610\Upload\ delete the FIT_TYPE_4 and the FIT_TYPE_9 folders. Create a new 30 second activity on the 610, open Express and see if it will sync.

    If it gets stuck in the same place, then the data coming from the 610 is most likely corrupt and you will need to Master Reset it.

    Did that and then got this:

    So Express can see the 610 and wants to upload the data but the 11/2/14 file is preventing the transfer. Other options besides a Master Reset?
