I've been meaning to ask this for some time. If I launch GE (3.2.21) without my Montana device connected how can it claim to know that the device firmware is up to date?
At the same time how can it know that the maps are up to date? It seems that GE is using stale information and the proper course is to require me to connect the device.
How can I know that even with the device connected it is using up to date information?
