The specified unit ID is invalid

Hi

In Garmin Express I get this message when trying to add my new FR50 - "Device Found Serial Number: The specified unit ID is invalid ". My Edge 800 is no problem. Running Windows 8 and latest verison of Garmin Express.

I see a few threads on this but no definitive answer...

Please can someone help me?

The FR50 is not compatible with Garmin Express. You will need to use the ANT Agent for that device.

what a shame, well at least it answers my question.
