Express reading activities multiple times

Recently it has taken ages for my express to sync my activities so today I looked at the more details tab while down loading and I notice that express was trying to upload the same activities 30 times. no wonder its taking a while.
How do I stop this happening?
The device I am syncing form is a 310 xt.

    Please start with the instructions in the two FAQ articles below. If you continue to have troubles please include the name of the activity you are having trouble with.

    Please make sure Garmin Express is up to date. See FAQ: How do I update Garmin Express?

    Use the instructions in the FAQ: What troubleshooting options can I try when my ANT enabled fitness device will not upload data? to delete the 310XT from Express and Remove the device from Connect then pair it up again.

    These should correct the issue. You might consider deleting any activity on the 310XT older than 30 days as well. Let us know if you have any other questions.

    I know this is an old thread but I'm having the exact same issue with my 310xt today. I've been sync'ing runs for weeks but today after a marathon I see I have 2 pages of files to sync? I've tried six times to sync but each eventually fails. I've redownloaded and install Garmin Express and repaird with 310. But, I still can't find my marathon run. I can find my run on the watches history. The problem is that Garmin Express, nor Garmin Connect can't find and load it. What's going on?
  • There have been some sync issue today with the Daylight Savings Time switch. If the activity is still on the watch, wait until tomorrow night then use the Mode-->History-->Transfer All option on the watch to send he activity to Express again. Hopefully the multiple Sync items in Express is also a result of the Server time issues as well. Let us know if you continue to have issues after tomorrow night.
