to add to my previous note. the error message I get is: 'Service Garmin Core Update Service' failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services. I run it as a sys admin...nothing. I deleted the security update file "KB2918614" as the site says...nothing. you would think this issue would be fixed by now since it is all over many forums.
I am sorry that you are having trouble installing Garmin Express. It is possible, as the previous post stated that the problem is with the Microsoft .NET Framework. However, if you have gotten this far, you should already have it installed. Try running a repair on the .NET Framework by following the instructions in this FAQ:
