GArmin Express deletes record from GPS Watch (910 XT)

Dear Community,

After I have uploaded a running session to Garmin Connect (web) the Garmin Express Software deletes the record in watch, although the option "Erase Data on this device" is not checked in the Device menu of Garmin Express. Is that a bug? :confused:

  • Exactly the same thing has happened today to me with my 910XT through Garmin Express software. The activity has somehow been deleted from the watch, and also is not residing in the computer directories as mentioned by techs on here. Yet, Garmin Express had told me it has synced. It is no where to be found.. in watch, Garmin Connect or my computer.

    There is no information in the Logs that indicates you have a Forerunner 910XT paired with Express. You have a 310XT and a Forerunner 10. I can only suggest, delete and re-add the watch, and make sure the 'Erase data from the device after successful sync' is unchecked. You can also look in the folder C:\ProgramData\Garmin\GarminConnect\Forerunner 310XT-3600950465\Upload\FIT_TYPE_4 for a file created the same day or the day after the missing activity. Manually upload the file to Garmin Connect to see if it the one you're missing.

    What troubleshooting options can I try when my ANT enabled fitness device will not upload data?
