Problem with connection to server

When I tried to syncghronize my Fenix 2 with Garmin Express - I've got the following error - "There was a problem communicatin with the Garmin servers."

But I can reach http://connect.garmin.com/modern/ by browser without problem.

Do you plan to fix this issue ?

    A solution that has helped some is as follows:

    1. Press the Windows key+R
    2. Type "services.msc" and press Enter
    3. Locate and right-click Garmin Core Update Service
    4. Click Properties
    5. Click on Log On tab
    6. Select This account
    7. Click Browse
    8. Type Network Service
    9. Click Check Names
    10. Click OK
    11. Remove all text from both password fields
    12. Click OK
    13. Click OK again
    14. Right-click Garmin Core Update Service and Click Stop
    15. Right-click Garmin Core Update Service and Click Start

    NOTE: This is not a permanent fix. These steps must be repeated if Garmin Express is updated to a newer version or re-installed.

    Thanks for instructions
    I've done according to this steps.
    After start of program I was waiting for 20 mins to sync data. The synchronization has not finished yet.
    Is it normal ?

  • Appears to me that something is still blocking your download, maybe your firewall or Av program?

    Thanks for advice
    I've tried to turn off KIS 2014 anti-virus for 5 mins - no result.
    After that I tried unstall and install again Garmin Express.
    When I tried to sync data - I was stopped on 50% - here it is video example - http://screencast.com/t/e1KzVlNvHe8l

    on the final step on the last date sync I've got error message -

    ok. can I tracert or ping garmin server connection manually and check connection myself ?
    what's the server IP ?


    Could you advise ?

    How to change interface language of software ?

    By the way, is it possible to change language of program to English interface ?
    It seems program detected my OS locale and open this language automatically.

    I changed my password yesterday for forum. Is it reason of connection ? But I can connect by webbrowser perfectly.
    Here it is another video example when KIS 2014 (Kasperskiy Internet Security) was disabled for 30 mins.

    All the same problem on my 2 PC - I sync Fenix 2 and vivofit more then 4 months without problems.
    It works and sync. with vivofit but it doesn't work with Fenix 2

    This is an issue with a specific activity file on the fenix2. The activity file causing the upload failure is listed under the error message. You can use the instructions in the FAQ: How do I manually upload data from USB devices to Garmin Connect? to manually upload it from the internal memory. It is likely that you will have to delete the activity from the fenix2. Also, please make sure the time, date, and time zone on your computer is correct.

    I've tried manually upload files according to FAQ How do I manually upload data from USB devices to Garmin Connect?

    one file gave me bad status after upload - 2014-10-22-08-28-41-Custom.fit - "undefined"

    I've removed all activity files from Fenix 2

    I tried to sync. my Fenix 2 manually and through the Garmin connect.
    Error synchronization with Oct 22.
    But there is no such data in Connect - see screenshot
    Look inside of Fenix 2 - there is no such track also. - screenshot
    ok. how can I remove problem file from Garmin connect to proceed synchronization ?
