How to install again the software on 2597lmt

Hello,
i own a 2597lmt and i add a SD card of 32GB. In Garmin Express i see few space available on internal storage. So i copied some files from Internal Storage to SD card and removed files from Internal Storage. After this operation i'm not able to modify some settings like language all settings are in english, text language, loose current times and so on. I did an hard reset of the device, and nothing changed. Removed sd card same results. Now i'm thinking to install software from scratch and the question is: there is a procedure in order to do that? Thanks a lot for your attention and help. P.S. yesterday i contacted the italian support and till now i don't have any answer. Cheers

With Garmin express u can reload language and text files. U cant move any files from the internal Memory to a SD memory. Just add the SD card
and the map updates will be loaded to the SD Memory.

What files did you move? Try moving them back. Then run Express and see what happens. Report back with further details once you've tried that.

I already performed all operations suggested by mariomobiel & sussamb but my problem still exists; moreover i tried to contact italian support either using e-mail and still no answer since two days, and via phone with following results: the telephone number is changed and on the web the number is wrong. Back to my problem: using Garmin Express i installed italian language getting an error. Yesterday i got an update about maps and slle went right. Now my device accepts only english - american language, the stop button doesn't work , time must be set when i switch on the device, my home address disappears at each power on/power off operation. I think its mandatory a new install, but wich is the right procedure? Thanks

There isn't such a thing as a new install unfortunately, just the master reset that you say you've tried. If you didn't back up the files you removed and Express won't get it operating correctly again you could try WebUpdater but I'm not hopeful that will work for you.

The only solution will be to return it to Garmin for repair. If that has to happen when you get it back do a full back up of your device next time before you start messing about with it.
