garmin express fails to update

Hi I am no longer able to transfer data with express since latest update as it gets stuck when loading the update at the initializing visualcppRedistributablex86 stage, any ideas? have tried uninstalling etc but no luck.

Not sure what 'data' you're trying to transfer, as you don't mention any device, perhaps you could be a bit more specific? Note that after updating Express it's worth deleting and then reassociating any device, for details see here:

Hi thanks for your reply I have a Garmin 500 and a 910xt and will try reloading express and then re associating both devices.

express will not update

Hi I have been using Express to upload data from my 500 and 910xt for some while now but following a recent update Express crashed and despite several attempts to reload it just stalls at the installing visualcppredistributablex86 point and will not go any further. Any ideas?
