Garmin Express doesn't work anymore in Windows 8.1

Hello!

Since a week ago that Garmin Express doesn't work anymore in my Windows 8.1 64 bit system. It freezes as we can see in the image. A week ago I activated Hyper-V funcionality. I do not know if that was the cause of the problem. I've tried reinstalling Garmin Express several times without success. Someone else had the same problem? Any suggestions? Thanks.

I am having the same problem, also on Windows 8.1 64 bit but I have not enabled Hyper-V. Reinstalling (latest version from the website: 3.2.19.0) hasn't helped either.

I was having a problem persuading Express to sync with one of my units. I tried various things, including unticking the option to keep Express running in the background. As soon as I did this, I got the eaxct symptoms you've both described.

The only way I could then sort the problem out was to completely uninstall the program and run a clean install. This rectified your problem, and the device causing the sync problem also worked again.

That's it. I've done a clean install without unticking the option to keep Express running in the background and it works now. Thanks.
