i signed up and sync my watch to g/e and everytime i shut my computer and turn it back on i have to resync the watch and start all over again.it never finds the watch i always have set the watch to force to send.this new g/e is so frustrating.
I am sorry for the troubles. We are aware of this and the fix is relatively simple. Since you have already paired your 310XT with Express and Synced with your Connect account we need to delete the device from Express, perform a master reset on the 310XT then pair it again. This will resolve the need to Sync the watch each time.
1. Delete the device from Express. How do I delete a fitness device from Garmin Express?
2. Master Reset the device. How do I reset my Forerunner 910XT and 310XT?
3. Pair the 310XT and Sync with your existing account.
The watch should remain paired with Express after a computer restart.
The force send feature on the watch should not have any affect on whether or not Garmin Express detects the watch. Changing Force Send to Yes only tells the watch to send all activities even if they have already been sent the next time a sync occurs. I would try all of the steps listed but leave out step 2 (master reset) as this is specific to the 310XT.
A master reset to the watch? REALLY??? Did you guys test this software release? Please provide a link to a previous version. Really getting tired of the releases breaking. So frustrated with you guys. Please fix it
I have ALREADY done this twice...still says "3 hrs to sync"...im ready to throw this pc of junk in the trash...for what I apid for my 310xt and to think ALL of these people are having issues.....
