Sync error FR60-Garmin Connect - Heart Rate zones

A month ago I tried to modify the Heart Rate zones of my FR60 through the new Garmin Connect website. After I did, one item appeared to be synced with the watch. Garmin Express tries to sync it and the watch also shows the Transfer screen. But after a few seconds it fails with the unhelpful message that you should try again. Activities are uploaded fine to the website. Further all the tools say I'm using the latest version and don't give any other error.
I looked on the support pages of Garmin and did some searches in this forum. What am I doing wrong and is someone else also experiencing this problem?

I'm using Windows 8.1. If any other information is required, let me know.

See bellow some relevant screenshots.

I am sorry for the troubles. There is a case open for this with the Garmin Express and Connect teams. Hopefully a resolution will be included in a future update. The Heart Rate Zones will need to be managed on the watch itself until then.

Please remove the Sync items from the Sync menu in Connect so the Heart Rate file is not sent to Express each time you Sync.

    1. Sign in to Connect
    2. Click on the Sync icon on the left
    3. Remove any items to be sent to the FR60

Again I am sorry for the troubles.
