modern garmin connect won't sync to forerunner 410 via garmin express

Hey everyone,

I can't get my forerunner 410 to sync with the garmin express via the modern garmin connect. the old website does work with the garmin connector. With the modern website, when I click send to device, the website starts up garmin express, and then nothing happens... the sync now button is not clickable.

any suggestions for me?

if I use the old site, it starts up the communicator, and then ANT Agent makes the successful connection to upload the course...

I've tried both IE and chrome with no avail.

Please use the instructions in the FAQ: What troubleshooting options can I try when my ANT enabled fitness device will not upload data?

Once you have successfully synced with the 410 then return to your Connect account and send the Course to the 410.

That was no help... if anything looks like a copy paste for a reply.

it connects fine with the old one, everything is on like pair mode, ant stick is obviously connected (it works with the old system) and I'm on the latest version

it's obvious the problem is way beyond this....

You have both Garmin Express and the ANT Agent installed on the same computer. This will cause tons of problems. You should uninstall the Garmin Communicator Plugin and ANT Agent, then restart your computer and try again.

If you are still having trouble, you might need to remove all of the Garmin software, delete/move the Garmin folders that remain on your computer, and then install Garmin Express and nothing else.
