Garmin series 2589LMT update map ISSUE

Hi guys,

I'm the new owner of Garmin nuvi 2589LMT in Europe.

Anyway, my newest version of Garmin Express doesn't offer any map updates. I was able update only firmware and few other files, but no new maps available. Garmin support in Czech Republic confirmed there are newer maps CN Europe NTU 2015.20 available. I don't see any maps in Garmin Express.

I claimed this device for other at seller and the issue is again here. Still the same. Not possible to update maps.

Can you help me?
  • What map is loaded to your device when you look under Settings, Map and Vehicles, myMaps?

    Hi, these are loaded from factory:

    CN Europe NTU 2015.10 Foursqare
    CN Europe NTU 2015.10 ALL

  • Then you should be getting an update. Try deleting then reassociating your device to Express, having ensured first it is up to date (click on the icon that looks like a gear wheel and select check for application updates)

    I think so. The problem will be with entire serie 2589LMT. I claimed first device, today have the new one and the same problem. Thank you for you suggestion, but I already did this, several times....

    I'm attaching my screen from GE.

  • Looking at that are you on a mac? If so I'll move this to the mac forum. It may be an account issue which the Express team will need to resolve.

    I have also Windows 8.1 and the situation is the same. It's not realted to mac/win or to my navigation, because this is the second "piece" of garmin 2589 I have in two days.

    I really appreciate any suggestion/help. I'm persuaded that all other users of new garmin 2589 are affected by this.
