express reinstall now won't sync

I had my F15 running just fine. i got it for my birthday 2 weeks ago, and have only used it a few times. Today, GEXpress wouldn't open on my computer. I tried several different ways. I decided to uninstall and reinstall express. i rebooted and all that stuff. now when i try to sync it says it can't. it keeps saying try again, which of course fails every time. Says the error is Personal Information error, settings. prior to express failing i had logged into connect and changed my training zones because today i tried to use the heart rate monitor and decided i should see what the default settings were in connect. that is all i tried to do today. Appreciate your help. sorry if this is answered in a thread somewhere, but nothing comes up in search.
  • If you've reinstalled Express ensure it's up to date, sometimes the link on the website is one version behind.

    Then delete your device from Express and reassociate it (you should do this every time Express is updated). Details are here

  • i hadn't deleted the device from express. i was concerned i would lose the data. But I was trying to do something similar by "erasing" the data on the watch, but couldn't find that. It does fully sync now, but i couldn't find a way to delete my help post after it straightened out. is deleting possible? what keywords did you use to find this answer in support? thank you for taking your time to respond.

    BTW you won't lose data by deleting your device from Express.
