810 now not syncing with Garmin Express

Hi all,

I have a 810 which has been syncing fine with Garmin Express....it detects the 810 as soon as the USB is connected & syncs in under a minute.

That was until yesterday....it still detects the 810 fine & says "Syncing" but doesnt do anything.

I've manually updated the rides to Garmin & Strava ok so the files are not corrupt. Anyone else had a similar issue? I'm guessing its a software problem with Garmin Express?

    Please follow these instructions to make sure Garmin Express is up to date:
    • Open Garmin Express
    • Click Settings in the upper-right (Gear icon)
    • Click Check for Application Updates


    If Garmin Express is up to date and you are still having issues, remove your device from express, restart your computer and then add the device back to Garmin Express. To remove the device from Garmin Express, follow the instructions in the FAQ below:
