I was prompted to update from 3.2.17 to 3.2.18 today.
Its usually a 30 second job to update. click the NT security warning and it all works.
Today the green installing bar stopped at about 60%.. then i got " Service 'Garmin Core Update Service' failed to start. Verify that you have privileges to start the system services."
Clicked OK, nothing happened for 5 minutes or so. I clicked [X] in the installer box.
GE was no longer in the program list.
I downloaded the new installer and ran the exe. same deal...
Went to the windows 7 Programs and Features to Uninstall GE. Selected UNINSTALL... that REinstalled 3.2.17 !
Tried to UPDATE with in GE 3.2.17 to .18 and this time it worked.
strange...
