Express 3.2.17.0 fails to start a CN EU NT2015.20 download for Montana650

On Windows 8.1 with Express 3.2.17.0 I connected my Montana 650. The new City Navigator Maps update was shown, I click on Install and got the question for the license acceptation. I did accept, and after that silence, nothing happen.

Normally I should get the elevated program question after this and the download should start, but it didn't.

I "fixed it" by connecting the Montana to my Mac and using Express for Mac. In another threat I mentioned the problem with my zumo 390, but after this Montana try on the Windows computer I did successfully updated my zumo 660 with the City Navigator Europe NT 2015.20.

I h ave exactly the same problem. After accepting the license nothing, simply nothing happens. Garmin Express is a crap.
It works with the stand alone Garmin Map Updater program.

Can you try this:

I did solve the problem by de-installing Express completely including the choice to remove all user files, this clears up all previous download. I did also a run with Ccleaner program on program and registry, downloaded Express again, installed it....

I did this to solve my zumo 390 problem (after I had the Montana problem and successful zumo660 update). I now connected the Montana back to the computer and the download starts, seems re-installation has solved the problem.

You can also stop Express and manually empty the C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Core Update Service\ directory. Then reboot (or manually stop start the Garmin Core service) and try again. Empty the content inside the directory, not the directory itself.
