"syncronize now" button greyed out

Why? How to fix?
  • Seriously, is this yet another bug that prevents syncing? Wow, you don't run out of new ideas to screw this up.
    Rebooting my 310xt didn't work. Rebooting Garming Express (incl tray agent) didn't work. Updating GC didn't work. How can I upload my newest activity to GC? Do I have to swap to Ant Agent once more?

    I've been having issues uploading activities since january, every now and then some new issue surfaces. Not sure why Garmin is okay with that - I certainly can't recommend your company to my peers.
  • Rebooting the PC didn't help either.
  • Either you fix this issue today or I send the device back. I refuse putting up with those upload-issues in the future. Manual uploading via GC doesn't work either (device not found), apparently my 310xt can't connect anymore. Help or I send it back tomorrow. There's a reason why there's only 1 year guarantee, luckily it's been only 7 months until I realized what kind of broken mess this is.
  • removed the device from garmin express (not from gc) and re-added it. Seems to have fixed the issue. Thanks for the help and thanks for this fine piece of software. Can't wait to run into the next issue.

    Try this:

    On garmin connect. Go to profile. Then select switch to classic. Then on upper right hand of he connect screen, an upload button appears. Click that and select your device. Choose upload manually.
