It's unable to find any satellites. I've installed Garmin Express, added the device, the Map update fails every time. Can't get it working.
Any support out there ?
The map update aside from your post the device is unable to acquire satellites. This issue has no baring on the map update. When you 1st connected the device and added it into Express there may have been some software/firmware updates. Did these updates load correctly? The reason I ask as these updates help with the performance of the device. If the device has been updated even without mapping on the device should still be able to acquire satellites. Please make sure the device has a clear view of the sky for 5-20 minutes to make sure it can at least get the satellites. If the device can't acquire satellites we have another issue here entirely and this will need to be fixed 1st. Even if we get maps loaded to the unit it will do no good if it can't pick up the sat. signal.
Now for the map update I will nee some more information to better help you with this. I understand that it fails can you please provide me some more detail? Where doe the map update fail? Does the stage 1 which is downloading fail? Does Express say any error in particular? Do you get to part that says installing?
