Why do I have to set up my device every time I use Garmin Express for my 310xt?

I have my device set up and synced and then the next time I try to sync my device, after sticking in the ant stick, the "sync now" button isn't highlighted. It's as if it doesn't find my device. The only way to get around this is to Add a New Device, which it can find, and sync the new device. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a solution?

  • It seems to be an issue with files left behind from the ANT Agent. The support folks have posted the solution a few times. Here is a link.

    Thanks. I tried that last week. It worked for a couple of days then I took my laptop home and the problem came back, i.e. Garmin Express didn't detect my watch so I had to setup a new device. Hmmm....
