Problem Communicating with Garmin Servers

For most of the last day I have been unable to upload activities from my Edge 800 using Garmin Express. When I try to I get the message 'There was a problem communicating with the Garmin servers. Please try again later.' However when I go into Garmin Connect everything seems to be up and running (except my new activities are not there).

Is everyone seeing the problem or do I have something wrong at my end?

    There were some issues on the 8th that were resolved by the 9th. All uploads through Express to Connect are working as of today. If you continue to have trouble, reenter your Connect credentials in Express.

    1. Choose the Edge from the device drop down menu
    2. Click the Device menu
    3. Scroll down to the Garmin Connect Account section
    4. Click Change Account
    5. Enter in the credentials again, (even if there is no real change)
    6. Create a new activity on the device
    7. Sync with Connect

  • I tried all the above and still getting the same results. There is one activity on the edge and it is not uploading and getting the same error message as before.
