GE will not delete data from FR60

I have a Garmin FR60, latest firmware.

I have latest version of GE and have been using it about 1-2 weeks now.

I am using Windows 7 64bit.

Under the "DEVICE" tab in GE the following information is listed in the INFO box;

Model: Unknown ANT device
Serial Number: 1188608
Software Version: 2.70

In the Garmin Connect Account box, I have the little box "Erase data on this device after successfully syncing" ticked.

GE does successfully sync all my data and I can access it all fine through the Garmin Connect website.

However, GE does NOT delete the data from my FR 60 after syncing. It has not done so at all since I have installed it.

My old ANT agent software did always delete data after syncing.

Any help or suggestions?
  • Well that should be working, if the box is ticked next to erase data.
    You might try deleting the device from Express and re-adding.
    Or what happens if you manually delete everything from the watch, put a test run on it, and with the box ticked sync it up again. Is that test still on it?

    Thanks for the reply Trish.

    I do manually delete all the data from the device every few days. Then when I sync it up again it syncs the data but does not delete it from the watch.

    I will try deleting the device and re-adding it and if that doesn't work I will try the master reset on the watch. I will post results.
