My Garmin Nuvi 2597 restarts about every two minutes while driving. It's driving me nuts. Most of the times it remembers where we are going, but not always. I can't use it anymore. It all started a few days ago after an update. What's wrong? What can I do about it?
I did a complete reset. It started making a lot of noise. About a dozen of long beeps, and then short ones. It keeps doing that. I made another reset, but no change. It's horrible. I have to set the volume to 0, but then I can't hear the voice to say where I have to go. Any suggestions?
This is not the forums for device specific issues. This forum is for Garmin Express and for device issues related to Garmin Express. Since you posted I will try and help you out. What you can try since you already Master Reset the device is downloading Express and see if there is any firmware updates for your device. If this doesn't work the device may need to be serviced but you may want to contact product support to see if there's anything else that can be done.

Turns out it was a Garmin Express issue after all. I had a lot of waypoints on my Garmin, and somehow I added a beep to the waypoints whenever I came closer than 2,5 km to it. With that amount of waypoints on it, I was ALWAYS within 2,5 km range of a waypoint, so it kept beeping. I switched off the beeping...problem solved :) Thanks for the help even though it was not the right place to drop the subject.
