Express Won't Send Workouts to Connect (FR70)

Hey! I have recently gotten an FR70 for a school program. I have been uploading workouts fine on my computer at home, but I recently went on vacation. Today I went to upload all my workouts from the week (5 or 6 30-60 minute) and so I downloaded Garmin Express. I was able to go through the process of setting up and syncing my FR70 and ANT stick to my account, but when the watch syncs, and it says "Sync Complete: Workouts sent to Garmin Connect", and I go to Garmin Connect, the workouts are not there. I have tried on a Windows 7 laptop and a mac laptop. It says my firmware version on the garmin express is 2.10. Thanks! If you can, please help soon, because I have to have these in to my teacher by saturday to receive credit, and I assume he isn't going to buy any "I did my workouts but they did not show up" excuses.

    Unfortunately there was no relevant info there. I have already paired the device. It is connected to my Express and it has no trouble syncing. The problem is that express is not sending the workouts to connect.
  • A couple things here, could you try to create a workout in your current account and then sync that workout to Express? If that doesn't work can you remove your device from Express/Connect and create a new Garmin Connect account. Once created go back into Express and add your FR70 back into the software; when prompted to enter your Garmin Connect credentials enter the new account information. Then see if the workouts / activities sync.

    If the problem goes away when using a different account then its possible it may be something in the Connect account.


    Also could you tell us if you are using the Modern Garmin Connect view?

    Hey!! I don't understand what you mean with the first suggestion, but I'll try making a new account and syncing with that. Thanks for the help. If that solution doesn't work I'll post again here.

    Hey! Kinda urgent, I need the workouts by tonight. I tried making another account, but the same thing happened. It said "sync complete", but the workouts did not show up in connect. I tried taking a ten second workout and that uploaded fine to garmin connect. So maybe those other 60 minute workouts didn't actually record because they were too big or something...?

    EDIT: I went to history on the watch and looked through, and all my workouts are there, but the ones from 7/29-8/1 will not send for some reason. I tried hitting "transfer all" hopefully when they are done, they show up in Garmin Connect.

    NVM I fixed it by going to "transfer all" in the history menu.
